GPSCY's (pronounced
"gypsy's")
204 York Street
GPSCY's is off York Street between Chapel Street and Elm Street. Walk
onto the little street by 202 York (Yale Daily News). GPSCY's is in the
back by the arch.
To get to GPSCY's from Harkness, go to the intersection with York, take
a right, walk down York Street, 5 short blocks. Take a left onto the
little street by 202 York (Yale Daily News building). GPSCY's/Gryphon's
Pub is in the back by the arch.

Harkness Lounge/Harkness
Dorm
367 Cedar Street (medschool)
Harkness Lounge borders a lawn on Cedar Street just steps from the
intersection with York Street. Walk onto the lawn and look
left.
To get to Harkness from GPSCY's, walk up York Street against traffic, 5
short blocks, past Walgreens, the big parking garage, and across from
Yale New Haven Hospital take a left onto Cedar Street and an immediate
left again.

African-American Cultural
Center
211 Park Street
This location is on Park Street between Chapel Street and Elm
Street.
It can also be reached from York Street and is just steps from the main
location GPSCY's.
To get to the African-American Cultural Center from GPSCY's, take a
left from the GPSCY door, walk under the arch, and follow the path to
the building on the left just before you get to Park Street.

Street Hall
1071 Chapel
St.
Street Hall is located on the corner of Chapel Street and High Street,
a block from York Street and across from Starbucks and the British Art
Museum. To get from any of the other locations to Street Hall, walk
along York St to the intersection with Chapel St, and walk one block on
Chapel Street against traffic (toward the Green). Street Hall is on the
far left corner of the intersection of York and High Street. |
Getting Around New
Haven :
We will post a location
map online and include
one with the downloadable booklet.
The Yale Tango Fest Locations are all within a few blocks of each other
so you can walk. Avoid wandering around the Medical School campus area
alone late at night.
To get around New Haven during the day, you can also catch a free ride
on the New
Haven
Historic Trolley .
Yale operates free shuttle
busses on weekdays and also at night on weekends. After 6 pm
Yale
people and their guests can call in (432-6330) a request for a free
door-to-door ride as long as at least one of the doors belongs to a
Yale building and the other is within the residential area surrounding
the campus. ID needed. Ask a Yale person for information or to tag
along
